What is self-adhesive stencil vinyl?

Self-adhesive stencil vinyl is ideal for creating precise stencils on surfaces such as wood, glass, metal, and more. It is designed for clean, sharp edges and does not bleed. It adheres firmly during painting, ensuring professional results every time. This vinyl is easy to cut and apply with cutting machines like LOKLiK iCraft™, Crafter, Cricut, or Silhouette, providing detailed designs and smooth application. Whether you want to personalize your home decor or create intricate art, stencil vinyl makes your projects easy and successful. The clear PET backing ensures easy cutting and prevents tearing and air bubbles.

LOKLiK permanent adhesive stencil vinyl lasts up to 5 years indoors and 3 years outdoors and can also be used as a permanent base adhesive.

Design and cutting

Create your design and place the material on the cutting mat with the PET backing down. Cut your design with your LOKLiK Crafter, Cricut, or Silhouette cutting machine.

Weeding excess vinyl

Remove excess vinyl, but leave the rest of your design on the PET film.

Transfer

Place a piece of transfer tape over the design and use a scraper to transfer it to the tape. Peel off the tape.

Apply

Place your design on your project surface, go over it with a scraper, and peel off the tape.

Paint

You can now start painting your design.

Done!

Wait for the paint to dry, but make sure it is not completely dry and still a little wet. Carefully remove the stencil.
