What is heat transfer vinyl
Heat transfer vinyl (HTV) is made from PET, PU/PVC, and hot glue. It can be easily cut with your LOKLiK iCraft™, Crafter, Cricut, or Silhouette cutting machine.
When you heat it with a heat press, the vinyl melts and transfers your design onto the fabric of your choice. It works wonderfully on various materials such as cotton, polyester, and cotton/poly blends, making it a versatile choice for all your creative projects like T-shirts, bags, pillows, and much more!
Our sturdy heat transfer vinyl is designed to withstand multiple washes without fading, peeling, or cracking.
How to use heat transfer vinyl
Design
Create your design. Check that your design is mirrored before cutting it out.
Cut
Place the material with the matte side up on the cutting mat. Cut out your design with your LOKLiK Crafter, Cricut, or Silhouette cutting machine.
Weed excess vinyl
Remove excess vinyl from the original clear protective film.
Press
Personalize your textiles with this black heat transfer vinyl on a 12 m roll. Iron your designs onto T-shirts, tote bags, caps, or other clothing. Machine washable and very durable with long-lasting vibrant colors.

Place it on your fabric with the transfer sheet facing up. Place a Teflon sheet on top and press it with your heat press according to the recommended temperature settings in the manual*.
Remove
Allow your project to cool down and remove the transfer film.
Done!
Your design is ready. If you wish, you can now iron on another color.
*Temperature and settings may vary depending on the material.
Care instructions
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- Wash inside out and tumble dry.
- Machine wash cold (30 °C).
- Use a mild detergent. Do not bleach.
- Do not iron directly on the motif. Turn it inside out, iron the back, or use a Teflon sheet to protect the motif.
Place it on your fabric with the transfer sheet facing up. Place a Teflon sheet on top and press it with your heat press according to the recommended temperature settings in the manual*.
